About Us...Manning's Fishing Tackle was established in 2005 by Sean Manning, who was later joined by his son Steve Manning. They now have a hugly successful business and a very strong brand both locally and nationally thanks to the Internet. The eBay store has been a great help into the National, European and International market. The Widley shop is renowned in the area for its great service and professional team. Manning's opened there second shop in the Summer of 2008 in Hayling Island. The Hayling shop is a benchmark of the success of Manning's Fishing Tackle, oweing much of its custom to holiday makers during the summer, and the charter boats throughout the year. Situated pretty much on the beach front, you can buy bait and tackle, cross the road and cast. Manning's Fishing Tackle also runs its own leagues... the summer league (Manning's Teams of Four) is very popular in the Hampshire area with anlgers coming from as far as the Isle of White to take part. Manning's now have Winter opens in conjunction with MBK Leisures to offer plenty of sport throughout the Winter. Manning's is proud to be associated with Horizon, the Angling Club for the disabled. Providing tackle for raffle prizes, presenting trophies and giving assistance to anglers is but a few things Manning's has helped with. "Horizon is a fantastic club for people with disabilities, and it is the least we could do." Manning's has provided tackle for Junior matches at MBK, so the next generation (our new customers) can enjoy the sport as much as Sean and Steve Manning have.
