RECYLING PROGRAM
At Manning's we feel very strongly about recyling. So much so that we dedicate alot of time and effort into doing our bit for the environment.
Duff Boxes...
We recycle 99% of all the packaging that we recieve by either using boxes for sending products out to customers who have made online or telephone purchases, or by taking them for recycling at the Dove Recycling plant, where they are shredded and sold to be made into paper or boxes again.
Plastic Nightmare...
Our plastic packaging is again reused for packing other products into boxes for online and telephone purchases.
Bags, and more Bags...
Our bags are mostly biodegradeable plastic. They break down within 9 months! So we encourage our customers to reuse the bags, but not for too long, or in a years time your shopping will fall out!
With Your Help...
All this recycling is only possible with the help of everyone else out there. There is no point in reusing a box for a customers item if it isnt delt with correctly by the customer its sent to. So everyone has to do there bit to ensure the cycle continues. Our advice is to reuse it if you can... recycle if you can't.

DO YOUR BIT
Even though exporting our recyclables means a bigger recycling loop because recyclable materials are transported further, it is still a better environmental option than using virgin, raw materials because:
- it minimises the need to use our natural resources such as oil
- using recycled materials significantly reduces energy use and carbon emissions during the manufacturing process;
- the transport impacts are reduced because the materials are transported in container ships returning to China after bringing the goods to the UK; and
- it means those materials are not being landfilled
